Pineda De La O, Edwin Andres (2019) Perovskite by bar coating. PhD thesis, University of Sheffield.
Abstract
In this work a step away from spin coating deposition was taken in order to make a more realistic approach with a view towards future of production of perovskite large scale. Instead of traditional spin casting, a bar coating deposition was used. This method provides a simple way to spread large areas with no wasted of precursor solution. At the same time it offers the advantage of producing different types of perovskites processed at low and high temperature, allowing a broad variety of options of tunability of the film properties. Over the course of this work, an attempt has been made to optimize deposition by a roll–to–roll technique, bar coating, and to approach the phenomena of crystallization and processes involving in degradation and stabilization of mixed halide perovskite.
