Abstract
The aim of this project is to investigate the exhaust emissions of diesel trains and to quantify their impact on air quality, whilst also looking at the potential for alternative fuels such as Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (HVO) and Gas to Liquids (GTL) in current passenger rail use using Well to Wheel (WTW) analysis.
