Liang, Liang (2020) Collective idea generation on an online platform: an analysis of user interactions on a clickworkers’ platform. PhD thesis, University of Leeds.
Abstract
This study shows how ideas are generated by clickworkers. Clickworkers are people using online platforms to create, modify and evaluate ideas. It has been noted that such ideation activities remain under-studied. This research aims to address this gap by investigating influence of collective ideation activities such as collective idea creation, voting and ranking of ideas on ideation outcomes.
