Floating upon a Dream

A horror screenplay that uses the skeletal structure of the classic slasher and attempts to move away from your typical slasher caricatures. 'Floating upon a Dream' is also mildly satirical, playing on the social commentary in which fame and its repercussions can destroy a person, while simultaneously pointing the blame at the audience.

Desperate for fame, a washed-up former child-star accepts the leading role in a horror film where she must endure an obsessive, sociopathic director and a vengeful former co-star in order to regain her stardom.
