Declaration

I declare that this thesis is a presentation of original work and I am the sole author. This work has not previously been presented for an award at this, or any other, University. All sources are acknowledged as References.
Within the thesis there are five playable video games made specifically for this thesis. The art and programming of these games were made in collaboration with game developer Phi Dinh, and used with his permission. Phi Dinh did not contribute to the generation of any original research presented in this thesis.
