DVD Playback
Please use VLC to playback videos as this handles 5.1 much better than built in DVD players, the OSX player often fails to pick up the 5.1 stream.  You can download VLC here:

HD Video File Playback

Similarly for High Definition video VLC would be better and has the codecs for playback.

Surround Sound Speaker Configuration

I have used the following surround configuration:
Channel 1 – Left
Channel 2 – Right
Channel 3 – Centre
Channel 4 – Sub
Channel 5 – Left Surround
Channel 6 – Right Surround

Aberfan Ambisonic Files

I have submitted Aberfan as an ambisonic Reaper project with decoders for the Trevor Jones. Note there is an additional Sub channel included.
